I recently enjoyed a stay at Kensington House that offered a unique blend of culinary exploration while I took a break from my usual wildlife adventures back in the South African parks. After a long day of travel, I found myself at the Tiger Bar. Its relaxed, informal atmosphere was a welcome respite. I savored a rich coffee as I kicked back, a perfect way to unwind. The restaurant experience was quite intriguing, albeit a bit chaotic. I was particularly amused when breakfast felt reminiscent of an episode from Fawlty Towers. The absence of tea and coffee cups, unclean tables, and one overstretched staff member created a quirky, albeit slightly frantic, vibe. Still, the food offered was delightful and made up for some disorganization. Kensington House stands out not just for its location but for its dedication to creating an innovative dining experience amidst all the hustle.
